I discovered these gems recently. It is a wonderful attempt of turning DooM into a 2D platformer. Instead of using sprites from the classic DooM they created new graphics with their own style.

This game suffers from a few design mistakes that can lower your fun quite a bit. For example : All monsters respawn EVERY time you go through a door. This makes is hard AF.

However, the team behind this made a new game called Mini Doom 2 which is a reboot of the first attempt and boy... that one kicks ars. A longplay of Mini Doom 2 will follow.
