God, for being the "easiesr" 15, it sure was hard to pfc. also there's no way this is easier than haunted Maid Lunch. absolutely no way.
(ALMOSR) CHRIS4LIFE SHOE REVIEW
So I bought these shoes from a local thrift store today, and I'm pretty sure they're similar to the shoes Chris uses. They might not be the exact same model, but I've owned actual Air Turbulence shoes before, and these feel pretty damn similar. These shoes are the Nike Air Tailwind II. I think the only difference between these and the Air Turbulence is that there are Air bubbles in the toebox sole area on these, where as Chris' shoe does not have those.
Weight:
Overall, the first thing that I noticed were how heavy these are. THESE THINGS ARE BRICKS. I think the only reason Chris can play in these is because his legs are just REALLT strong (and also because he's been using them for the last like 15 years).
Grip:
Not the grippiest shoe ever, but def not slidy. The lateral support is also very good on these, as I felt really secure in the shoe while doing crossovers.
Step feedback:
The feedback on these things is great, probably because of the Air bubble and the slightly firmer rubber used in the midsole. You can really feel when you step, and despite the super loud cab at D&B Concord, I could totally hear my steps too.
Pad feel:
This is one of the only things I didn't like about the shoe. I felt like I couldn't really feel the pad all to well while playing, especially the up arrow for some reason. maybe I need to try playing with these on a slightly more recessed cab, but I think that shouldn't be an excuse for bad pad feel. i think the hard material of the sole does not allow for good pad feel.
CONCLUSION:
I don't think imma play in these, mainly cuz they're just so heavy. I'll prolly go running in them or something LMAO. I can see why top players that are 6 foot would like them tho, mainly cuz of the great feedback.
