4So I picked up a new game. It has a Darkest Dungeon and Slay the Spire vibe to it. Surprise. Surprise. It's another gacha game. The animations have a Darkest Dungeon feel to it with more flair. The dungeon progression and rng feels like Slay the Spire.
The story is well written. The flow is entertaining though. Some hints here and there. I like it.
This gameplay is the mirror dungeon and it has a Slay the Spire type of gameplay where you progress through three maps and a boss at the end of each map. You level up a unit after each battle stage and you can gain "relics" or E.G.O. Gifts that give bonuses.
The mirror dungeon is also where you can farm exp materials and stuff to farm shards to get characters. The shards are rewarded 5 times a week only though, but they're planning to change that. Also, they're planning to add two game modes to earn exp and the other to earn character rank up material.
