Missing BURG.L Bug - How to find (and get to) BURG.L if he disappears from the Oak Laboratory
22Here's a workaround for Grounded if your BURG.L suddenly disappears from the Oak Laboratory.
We've been playing in coop for a while now and thought that the robot actually disappears as part of the story, only to find out that it's actually a bug.
What happens is BURG.L does not spawn in his usual location and instead appears beneath the lab, which we don't have access to using normal means... (if you guys figure it out, feel free to share!) This might not be the case for others though as he sometimes spawns randomly around the Oak Lab, try and see if he's somewhere "above ground." If not, then hopefully, he's just under the lab which we can gain access to via mods.
Build a floor and chair outside of the destroyed tunnel leading into the lab. Sit on the chair and you now have access to the area below the lab where BURG.L is chilling on the water.
There's a console command to spawn him (you'll have to enable the console) but fair warning, the game crashes when you do this if the original BURG.L is still in the game (something about the game not being able to handle two BURG.Ls.
The vanilla way of having him respawn again is to restart the game (and losing any progress you might have done). As we don't have the amount of time to grind through the game again, here's what we did.
