In this video, I connected my Commodore 1571 disk drive #8 to my MiSTer FPGA via the external IEC adapter. I loaded the C64 core and used Maverick to copy Alpharay.d64 (40 tracks) to a 5 1/4 disk for the Commodore Plus/4 computer. I loaded the Alpharay disk from my 1571 disk drive on the MiSTer Commodore Plus/4 core.

*CONVERTING ALPHARAY DISK IMAGE:
Please note that this is a 40 track disk image so in order to convert it back onto a real floppy disk you will need to use a transfer system that supports 40 track disks.

This device interconnects the MiSTer FPGA to a real Commodore disk drive. Also compatible with drive emulators like SD2IEC. To provide power to SD2IEC there are two edge connectors: user port and tape port.

Can be connected directly to the DB9 port, but optionally I sell with a DB9 extender cable.
