This is my gameplay impressions for Mistover. I played up into the 2nd area and got a taste on Mistover's take on the Darkest Dungeon formula. Though it blatantly borrows a lot there are some key differences. The biggest two are the roster of fives characters across a three line grid and the exploration is also across a grid.

So far fun game that is different enough from Darkest Dungeon to warrant checking out thanks to the roster of five, and differences in map traversal. Once you get past the anime tropes(if you're like me anyway) you get that same tension gameplay-wise like you do in darkest dungeon, albeit without the uniqueness and character of the latter.
