After Ruby's self-confidence has been thoroughly massaged and Algimas, Nikolas, and Adin have an ego stroking contest, the rimson Arm march onward to the Messana Cathedral, the core of the Zentirim Inquisition. Just so happens that a Braxian stronghold lies en route to the Cathedral, which is being held by Braxian forces. To prevent a very likely and embarrasing pincer attack, the Crimson Arm decide to raid it. Curiously, one of Jormund's henchmen, Gormund, is holed up in there and has a mind to escape with a very valuable item.
