Well, it definitely saves a lot less than it looks like it would. The no glitch is ended a bit early due to the time saved by the glider, and started a bit later due to the time the glitch takes to align. But about a second can be saved from this, so it will probably be seen in a run at some point in the future. The glitch was performed by Catfish, and the no glitch run is Ryan's 1:53.450 (World Record at time of upload).
