This SC is really old (2006?), and people might remember it.

This was known to be a sc that didn't count the lap. If you just do it straight ahead, that is what happens. In 2008, I noticed that it was possible to actually make the lap count somehow, but I didn't really understand the glitch myself.

Now I just decided to check it again, and what you need is triggering a checkpoint that is a bit after the sc, then going back, and pull the SC off.

On this video I got a lap of 36.449, it's the fastest known lap that doesn't use the rail SC. I'm pretty sure I saw someone skipping the loop with this SC, so maybe this strat has WR potential.

Hope I see someone else trying this SC as well :)

Also, there's a few bugs on this video encode, I used HD recording but for some reason screen doesn't fade when I fell down.
