Playthrough | Part 1 - Episode 1: Yesterday of the Dumpster

A Christmas Miracle ain't it? Fortunately this is short so I can at least make sure you guys enjoy it. Without further ado, welcome to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind. If you're wondering why the Green Ranger is unlocked already, it's because I already beat the game since my brother challenged me to do it in Hard. One more thing, for this part only, I'm using the Green Ranger. Take a guess why I would choose to do this. We still miss you JDF. Seriously. We still do.
But anyway, this game is a challenging beat 'em up that will put your skills to the test. Take it from me. I know. In terms of story, basically, Robo-Rita (from Once and Always) travels back to 1993 and teams up with her past organic self to defeat the Power Rangers. Sensing a disturbance in the time stream, Zordon summons five teenagers to become heroes. Familiar? Yep. Like how it was in the first episode, Day of the Dumpster. But the twist here is that Robo-Rita is trying to change history by destroying the Rangers in the past. Sound familiar? Yep. Just like in the special Once & Always.
Here's how this works. Each episode consists of three stages. As there are 15 stages, it's split into five episodes. We begin with the first episode Yesterday of the Dumpster. We cover the first three stages. The first two consist of beat-em-up sections and the third is a zord shooter section that ends with a Megazord fight against Goldar. And in the Megazord fight, you need to beat up the enemy enough to fill the Power Sword gauge. Once you unlock the Sword, head close to the enemy and I mean VERY close and then strike it. Button mash and the fight's over. That's pretty much it.
We cover the first three stages: Canyon Path, Downtown Rooftops & Goldar Battle. We'll reach the next episode in Part 2.
