This week's update added the Byarlant as a new mobile suit in the game! A 500-cost General suit at level 1, it has pretty straightforward armaments and is capable of flight.

Its Mega Particle Cannon doesn't stagger but fires very fast and can fire a lot before overheating. Meanwhile its Double Mega Particle Cannon will stagger on hit and can fire twice before reloading.
It also has a Beam Saber as well as an option for two Beam Sabers, giving it options to combo in melee.

A good strategy I found is to stagger with the Double cannon, then use the opportunity to fire with the regular one, stagger again with the Double one and then close in for melee, works great if you don't get interrupted.
