Mobius Final Fantasy - Android on PC - GLTools Setup - F2P - Android/iOS - Global
I think there is many people (me too) that like to play mobile games on desktop at some point (save battery, bigger screen, easy to record, keybind, mouse, etc...) so here is how you can make Mobius Final Fantasy run on your PC with Bluestacks.̶ ̶I̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶t̶r̶i̶e̶d̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶N̶O̶X̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶t̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶G̶L̶T̶o̶o̶l̶s̶ ̶:̶(̶ It works also with Nox App Player, even simpler: https://www.reddit.com/r/MobiusFF/comments/4wd0mj/mobius_works_with_nox/
By default the game check for your hardware since the game is really graphically intensive, so you will probably see the same message (0:15) in any emulator. To make it run you will need to tell the game you have a device capable enough, so here is where GLTools does its magic, you can change the GPU info so the game thinks your device can make it run.

This tutorial was made for the japanese version but it also make it run for any other language.
Optional Bluestacks Tunning:
By default, bluestacks run at 720p, so if you put the window maximized it's still 720p and it looks a bit blurry. To make it run pixel-perfect you need to check your monitor native resolution and change bluestacks internal resolution via registry with the correct heitht and whidth.
Tutorial: http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/128727/how-do-i-increase-the-resolution-of-bluestacks
- Open regedit: Start-Run-regedit
- Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/BlueStacks/Guests/Android/FrameBuffer/0/
- Double click the value GuestHeight
- Change Base to Decimal
- Input your desired Height resolution
- Double click the value GuestWidth
- Change Base to Decimal
- Input your desired Height resolution
- Restart your PC, Open BlueStack - It will open up with New Resolution.
Extra tip for pixel perfect resolution (no up/down-scaling):
Since Bluestacks draws a permanent bar in the top, you will see vertical letterbox issue and downscaled resolution cause that when you use your native monitor resolution while maximized. You can remove the bar height to GuestHeight value in pixels to make it look like in my video, so you will not see any black area in the screen. In my case, instead of 1920x1080 I used 1920x1049, the side effect is you will have a small letterbox effect in window mode :P
