DESCRIPTION: Welcome to Part 28 of “Old Features Call of Duty hasn’t had in Years”. Today’s feature is Mod Support. And I’m not talking about mod menus or unfair aimbots, I’m talking about official custom mod support that allowed the COD community to create and share their own custom experiences and maps with the entire Call of Duty community! There were a handful of OG COD games on PC that had custom mod support, but Black Ops 3 has become infamous for the sheer quantity AND quality of custom zombies maps and enhancements in the Steam workshop. BO3 has maintained a consistent player count on Steam as a result, and Black Ops 3 on PC has gained an exceptional reputation because of custom mod support. It would truly be incredible to see this feature come back in a new Call of Duty game!
