I was tired when I recorded this, but when I found out this was going on, I had to get this off my mind. Also, yeah my mic is bad and makes my voice constantly change. Paid a decent penny for the software too. Go figure.

Anyway, people are now seriously using modded gear in this game? I guess pressing more than 1 or 2 buttons was a bit too much effort for this new generation of players? This game's overall harder than Hollow Realization, but it's still not that hard. This is coming from someone who figured everything out for himself, when this game was still a wild wild west in terms of the info. There weren't really any advanced guides or breakthroughs. Now though, I have quite a few just myself, and others do as well, with this stuff now being more common knowledge. There's nothing even crazy ridiculous in this game - like in Hollow Realization - that I can look at and go "Yeah I can at least see why you'd do that". I've already given a plethora of examples of why there's no need for it, and the tricks I showed mostly require very little effort as it is.

Again, this isn't to dictate how people should play their own game. You bought it and are free to do with it what you want, though my opinion of modded gear in general, and my opinion of it existing in THIS game, and what I think of resorting to using it won't change. This is about the people bringing it online and ruining other people's experiences, and I've talked to enough honest-to-god players who have been bothered by its presence. There's a reason hackers are seen as the lowest of the low in the gaming community, and it's more hilarious when it's being done for a game that they have no excuse doing it for. But at the VERY LEAST, don't use that gear to interfere with others' experience and enjoyment, unless you're playing with a host who's cool with it, you're in a private lobby, or you're in a lobby that warns others that it's using modded gear. That's the least effort that can be done to provide some common courtesy to the other honest players, though I guess using modded gear denotes a lack of desire to put forth effort in itself to begin with.

And like I said, it's not impressing anyone who knows better, if that's your goal. Since it allows you to pretty effortlessly dispatch of anything, you don't need help and therefore have no reason to bring it online aside from either to just play with friends or to show off, the latter which is laughable. Using a PS4 Save Wizard isn't even that hard. So even THAT isn't impressive. Changing one item into another in the same category, or changing the quantity, or changing its values just requires some small changes in the hex values.

Anyway, might be OP now, but I didn't start that way. I was fighting HNMs on Death Game ever since they outleveled me by more than 100 levels. I have clips of me doing it on my channel, and I was BAD compared to me now. My sword skills weren't 3 stars for most of those, and took effort to get to 3 stars, as did it take effort to acquire the equipment to edit them with. The knowledge of the buffs, debuffs, and mechanics of the game also took effort to figure out on my own, and I hardly ever use the Ghost OSS glitch unless I trigger it by accident, since it's easy to do. My method is being Debuffer to lower my damage and even using weaker weapons.

It's all about co-op etiquette. Without glitching or modding, this game already gives the player plenty of ways of dishing out ridiculous damage. I have to actively restrain myself in online lobbies so I don't kill the target (and the fun) too fast, and that's even when I'm Debuffer with my weaker weapons. Crazy damage can still be done, and it's so effortless that now and then I slip up and accidentally go more ham than I intended.

Just please... be respectful of others. 9/10 times they'll be more impressed by you being a team player than ending missions fast with scummy hacked weapons. You don't need to be particularly good, and it's hard to notice the skill of teammates online anyway. Everyone's busy fighting something instead of standing back and staring in awe at your ability to deal tons of damage with no skill or effort at all.

The kind of player who does this is basically Alberich. Do you WANT to be Alberich? NOBODY likes Alberich. The anime and other games have depicted similar characters, and spoiler - it's not in a positive way. You're not being like Kirito when you do it. You're being like the people Kirito is shown despising and facing off against to beat down with his actual skill.

But again, it's only really a problem if you bring that crap online. If you do, and if I catch it, I will be making a list and calling out the ones doing it in videos for many to see.
