Modded Satisfactory - First Crude Oil Refinery Build Guide (Fuel, Plastic, and Rubber)
1Welcome to LD7's guide to set up your first oil refinery in Satisfactory. While we are playing a modded game, the build used/covered in this video is 100% compatible with vanilla Satisfactory, as no mods are used in this design. This oil refinery will require a total of 5 refineries, and will produce rubber, plastic, and fuel. This design requires an input of 120 crude oil per minute, or a Mk.1 oil extractor on a normal or higher quality oil node. This factory design is used to get some initial plastic and rubber to complete the advanced fluid handling milestone. Once this milestone is completed a packager is added to the end of the line to turn the fuel into packaged fuel using some of the plastic made to make canisters for the fuel. Until the fuel is packaged this design will back up once the fuel output buffer is full. However, three normal fluid storage buffers will allow this design to run long enough to produce the required plastic for the advanced fluid handling milestone. Then the fuel packing line will be added so the plastic and rubber is continually produced.
