Great garbage disposal.
I bought this to replace a builder grader cheap one, and I was very impressed; it wasn't that much more expensive than the cheap garbage disposals, but is very quiet and effective, and was suprisignly an easy drop-in replacement for the old one which was a different brand.
The spash guard is easily removable for cleaning it, or retrieving something that's accidently dropped in, and is ridgid enough to catch small utensils (like spoons) to prevent them from going in. Note, it requires you purchase a special unjamming wrench to manually turn it if stuck, but it's cheap and easy to buy, and has a much better mechanism than many other disposers which use an allen wrench at the bottom. I purchased the unjamming wrench and an extra splash guard, and would recommend everyone who buys this do the same.
I would strongly recommend it; great value and quality.
