Thanks to mods (links below) and a whole lot of persistence, here is a full RE4 campaign run using Weskers's Merc load-out, health, and costume(s). For speed sake, I skipped most cut-scenes, since Wesker does not show up in them. I put Ashley in her invincible armor because we all know Wesker wouldn't lift a finger to help her.

 My Rules:
- Professional difficulty
- No merchant (I did sell my treasures for fun)
- No yellow herbs for player (Ashley is OK)
- Unusable ammo can be swapped for usable ammo via mod*
- Maximize kill count!

*I forget the exact formula I used at the time, but a good rule of thumb is "a full box of X = a full box of Y"

Some mod bugs and notes (Minor spoilers):
- Non-Leon player character is invisible for most cut scenes (scary eyes post ch. 2-2).
- Some scenes must be skipped to avoid crash (getting out of the car and all radio calls).
- Characters may only possess guns/weapons they could legitimately have in the game or else they crash (e.g. Wesker cannot have Krauser's Bow, or Leon's infra-red scope).
- Several areas have lighting or graphical glitches.
-Camera tilts up after using sniper scope.
- Non-Leon characters cannot command Ashley. Various cheats (walk through walls or swap back to Leon) had to be used to get around this. Warning: You can command Ashley to get into a dumpster, but you can't call her back out!
- Non-Leon characters can freeze when jumping and falling to far (e.g. Ch 4-2 statue room)
- Non- Leon characters load into some parts differently (e.g. In ch. 4-4 boss fight, Wesker spawns behind the bars!)
-Wesker cannot complete the final escape sequence; the game crashes when you try to get on the Jet-ski.
