My first uploaded run with smooth quality. You can count the previous two videos, but this video is an actual run and not just a meme.

So... Momoyo Himemushi! What can I say? I love tomboys. Though that should be obvious where Marisa is my favorite character in Touhou. Momoyo just wants a good fight. Simple and straight to the point.

So the stage itself is fairly easy compared to other extra stages, though it heavily depends on where you are positioned, so you can accidentally corner yourself if you're not careful.

狐符「フォックスワインダー」(Fox Sign "Fox Winder")
Not much to say for this one. It's basically the same as her non spells on Normal mode, and easier than those non spells on Hard and Lunatic.

管狐「シリンダーフォックス」(Kuda-gitsune "Cylinder Fox")
LASERS! This gives me Shinmyoumaru vibes with her laser non spell.

星狐「天狐龍星の舞」(Stellar Fox "Dance of Heavenly Foxes and Dragon Stars")
ANOTHER attack that reminds me of a different one. This time with Saki's spell card "Follow me, Unafraid"

Now for Momoyo's attacks.

First non spell:
Makes me think of a mix of shovel heads and centipede legs. All of her non spells use the same bullet.

蠱毒「カニバリスティックインセクト」(Kodoku "Cannibalistic Insect")
Curving bullet streams are easier to read than curvy lasers only because laser tips are skewed and harder to notice when it turns at times. Or maybe that's just me.

Second non spell:
She starts her attack quickly after the spell card, so you don't have time to run up and grab your powerups.

蠱毒「ケイブスウォーマー」(Kodoku "Cave Swarmer")
I've had many instances of bullets disappearing before running into me, practically saving my life.

Third non spell:
Her first three non spells gain an extra wave of the same pattern, so this is just a more cramped version of the first two non spells.

蠱毒「スカイペンドラ」(Kodoku "Sky Pendra")
Speaking of curvy lasers... Somebody give Nue a call. This feels like a combination of Recollection "Flying Insects' Nest" and Nue Sign "Mysterious Snake Show"

Fourth non spell:
This run I literally tested this strategy of starting her attack while being at a bottom corner. It turned out to be effective.

採掘「積もり続けるマインダンプ」(Mining "Ever-Accumulating Mine Dump")
I learned real quick after my first time facing Momoyo how this spell card works. Boy does the bottom get super clustered!

Fifth non spell:
I tried the same strategy from the previous non spell. Same result!

採掘「マインブラスト」(Mining "Mine Blast")
LOVE this spell. HATE dodging it. I've lost so many lives to this spell card.

Sixth non spell:
The bullets are spread out into a cluster now! Just stay under her and you should have an easy time.

採掘「妖怪達のシールドメソッド」(Mining "Shield Method of the Youkai")
Another spell I love, but this one I also love dodging.

Seventh non spell:
To me this feels like the previous non spell, except the bullets don't slow down as much near the end so they come at you faster.

大蜈蚣「スネークイーター」(Oomukade "Snake Eater")
The hitbox on those lasers are bullshit. This is also exactly what I am referring to from the Kodoku "Cannibalistic Insect" spell card above.

Last non spell:
The one death in my run. I'm not sure what changed in this one, but it's now much harder to stay directly under her for dodging.

大蜈蚣「ドラゴンイーター」(Oomukade "Dragon Eater")
Another spell where I learned real quick how to dodge. Hated this at first, now I love it.

「蠱毒のグルメ」("Kodoku Gourmet")
ZUN. I get it. Time out spells are circular. At least they have been as of late (except Okina). Easy spell. You just need to make sure to aim the purple bullets at a large cluster of red bullets to clear enough of a path.

「蟲姫さまの輝かしく落ち着かない毎日」("Mushihime-sama's Resplendent and Restless Daily Life")
Well this was... unexpected. Similar to Hecatia's First and Last Nameless Danmaku with Junko, this uses non spell bullets for the spell card. Dodge the weaves and you'll be fine. It's one of the easiest final spells of an extra boss.

And there you have it! I feel cursed to be unable to get a perfect run on an extra boss and always lose one life. Though I do have a perfect run against Momoyo. Just not with Marisa. The one I wanted to get a perfect run on... Oh well!
