I'm just slightly upset about that one death, but I'll get over it.

Wow, I uploaded Okina relatively early unlike Hecatia in LoLK. I mean, I wanted to make a fancy run for Heca, but it just took too long, especially when I consider her to be the hardest extra boss. Okina on the other hand, I dare say she's the EASIEST extra boss. As for Touhou 16 itself, holy cow I love the music. Crazy Backup Dancers is most likely my favorite, but the extra stage theme is intense. I love its eerie feeling as it matches 100% with all the doors in the background. I can't help but dance during most of the stage portion.


SPELL CARD COMMENTARY:

Speaking of dancing... So I decided to dance in the back of the backup dancers during Mai and Satono's spell cards. The only comment I will make is on their final spell, Bullet Dance "Twin Typhoons." It's the exact same thing every time, so I taught myself how to do it in the back just so I could stay behind them for all three spell cards. I found it both fun and effective.

Okina's spells are very creative. Zun went all out when he made this boss along with her attacks. I guess he was thinking that since we typically attack from the bottom of the screen that she would be harder now that we attack her from the top? I can see many normal mode players having a hard time getting used to this boss, but once you get used to it, she becomes very easy.

Secret Ceremony "Reverse Invoker"
So I didn't know the black bullets couldn't hurt you my first time doing this. I mean, it's definitely doable either case imo.

Secret Ceremony "Rear Shots of Betrayal"
Not really much to say on this spell.

Secret Ceremony "Danmaku Dupion"
Be careful if you stay above her when you finish the spell as she will fly up and will kill you. Make sure you move out of the way before the spell ends.

Secret Ceremony "Flames of the Impure"
So I almost died here like an idiot. I kept myself to the left side for most of the spell without realizing how much open space I was creating for myself on the right. I'm such an idiot. Go me.

Secret Ceremony "Kyōgen of the Back Door"
I find this spell to be very effective when you start shooting at her from the top of the screen. I'm not sure how effective it is with other characters, but Reimu's homing amulets makes this spell laughable.

Secret Ceremony "Matarah Dukkha"
So many close calls in this spell. I am not sure what was going through my head when I did this.

Secret Ceremony "Sword of Seven Stars"
Nothing to see here. This spell reminds me of Kaguya's Divine Treasure "Buddhist Diamond." It's not hard.

Secret Ceremony "Performers Lacking Social Ties"
Not as hard as Yatsuhashi's Koto Music "Social Upheaval Requiem," but if you're not careful you might get hit by a stray bullet. I almost died here too because I wasn't being too careful.

"The Back Face's Dark Sarugaku"
CROTCH BEAM!!! Well... more like foot beam, but whatever. This spell is interesting. If you're not too careful, you could get hit by the bullets that start to pop up from the bottom of the screen. I kept dying to those on my first few attempts at doing this extra stage.

"Anarchy Bullet Hell"
Of all the places, this is where I lose my one life. If I do manage to do a perfect run, I will upload it, but for now I have this. Fun fact. I saved over a previous replay of an almost perfect run where I died in the same spot. The only difference is the previous replay I got cocky and died like an idiot whereas in this run I run into a bullet like an idiot. Boy I sure do love doing that when I play Touhou (/sarcasm).

Overall this game is hella fun. Amazing music all around and not too hard, but not too easy with loads of customization with your characters for playing.
