Monkey Business (AiAi Guest Player Theme) - Los Angeles Dodgers 2026 OST
0In The Year 2024, The Los Angeles Dodgers quickly rose to the status of the MLB’s Hero Team thanks to their continuing collaboration with the Japanese VTuber/Virtual Reality company known as HoloLive. Because of this, I decided to start a new series of original compositions that I commission on Fiverr that answer the following question:
“If 2026 is the biggest season yet for the Los Angeles Dodgers, what would it look like?”
I’ll tell you what it would look like. A summer jam-packed with Hype Moments, Elite Collaborations, and a good time for people worldwide. I am gonna be showing you guys my ideas for this through the power of music, via some of Fiverr’s most underappreciated musical talents.
Moroccan Fiverr composer Younes Omar makes his return to the channel with “Monkey Business”. I was thinking of the 2026 Dodgers season implementing a pseudo-team known as the “Guest Dodgers”, a team full of media figures ranging in personality and style that would play against fans, Minor Leaguers, or maybe even Major Leaguers!
“Monkey Business” just happens to be the Guest Player theme of AiAi from Super Monkey Ball. Originally released in 2001 for the GameCube, it was Sega’s first new IP after the fateful discontinuation of the Dreamcast console, ending Sega’s reign as a hardware manufacturer and their beginning as a 3rd party publisher.
AiAi is the hero of the Super Monkey Ball series, who tries to stop the evil Dr. Bad-Boon from kidnapping his girlfriend MeeMee. Along with the help of his best buddy GonGon, and his child Baby, they roll to the goal in order to stop Dr. Bad-Boon and take back the banana hoard that Monkey Island loves so dearly.
The series is known for its musical score. Monkey Ball’s lead composer, Hidenori Shoji, gives the series a powerful musical score unlike anything else heard in the party game genre. The song most people associate with the series is “Monkey Island” from the Wii game: “Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz”.
However, this song is an original score made specifically for the channel, taking a look into what may be the future of the MLB…
