As someone who isn't a fan of the whole rougelike/rougelite genre, this is actually an apealing concept to me. Take a game like Gauntlet, give it rougelite element and plenty of upgrades and you've got something pretty good

Horde based roguelike; slaughter them all with overpowering attacks & annihilate entire rooms. Explore diverse builds using heroes, abilities, buffs & relics. Battle through procedural dungeons full of monsters, treasures & traps. Beat Bosses to unlock run changing Uber Relics. 2 player local co-op.
