Monster Hunter World - Part 7 - Finding the missing Scholar
0Hey everyone and welcome back to Monster Hunter World.
We have been given a quest to explore this new area one of the Scholar's has gone missing, we need to find them before anything happens or they encounter a dangerous monster. We find some tracks for the Scholar and try to track them like we would a monster. The tracks lead us through the new area were we also find some unusual spikes in the ground.
The tracks lead us to a bog like area that is filled with water, the water makes us walk round more slowly. In the middle there is a small island and the scholar is sat there. The Scholar speaks about a monster that killed the Barroth and then we are attacked by the Jyuratodus.
The Jyuratodus is like a big fish and uses the enviroment around it to help it attack more quickly. The Jyuratodus will even move under the water to get a heavy hit on the player. Using the insect glaive allows us to jump around the bog and out of the way of some attacks, but because the Jyuratodus is mostly under water it is harder to mount it.
Like the other monsters once the Jyuratodus has taken so much damage it will more to another area, these other areas allow us to fight the Jyuratodus a little better as there is not as much water. Whilst fighting we are able to break off some parts of the Jyuratodus that we can collect as use as materials back in Astera.
We head back and inform the Commander. The researches have been able to work out where Zorah Magdaros will appear next. Zorah Magdaros is heading for the Great Ravine. The Commander wants to try and capture Zorah Magdaros at this point. Before everyone can get things ready to capture Zorah Magdaros we will need to deal with the Anjanath and any other monsters in the area, this will be our next assignment.
