Same car and track as before, but this time my much newer ThinkPad T43 has been used, and the game is thus configured to utilise all of the D3D options rather than the software renderer.


As such, combined with the far greater power of that T43, the game runs much smoother - and the audio output is also superior, with the T43's sound chip able to generate a stronger signal through the headphone jack (although the quiet audio in the original video was simply because I hadn't checked the levels).


Captured from OBS but no further editing done at this point.
