This is the beginning of the severely annoying minigames that are about to come and what I suspect was the dealbreaker in shipping this game west originally. We have to play three games with Adder to unlock an area to explore where we know the Hero went. All of these are memory games, which if you're recording like I am and willing to cheat, can be extremely easy to beat, but if you want to do them legitimately they are very painful.
First, you have to remember his phrase, with whatever errors that are present. Then you have to play a musical game where some of the things are barely any different. Finally, you just have to remember his face in a split second, which is easier than it sounds. With all of this out of the way, the final of the locked areas is unlocked and we can explore the remainder of the world (Bali Bali Island excepted for now).
I wrap things up in the Tropical Forest rounding up easy to find souls, but I do lose audio here. It slightly comes back in the next video, but it won't be until the one after that where I completely locate the issue.
