Ghostbusters is getting ANOTHER movie in 2020 plus a comic book crossover with Transformers, in addition to all of the movies, cartoons, merchandise and more the franchise has received since June 8, 1984. But on that same day in 1984, Gremlins was also released and made its mark in pop culture, but not as much as Ghostbusters. Andre Black Nerd makes the argument that Gremlins deserves the same amount of pop culture nostalgia love as Ghostbusters.
