Make sure to practice using functions with return statements to see how they behave. Try saving return values into variables and call those return values in other parts of your code to see how return statements work in PHP. Learning to use return statements correctly is a key fundamental programming concept that any programmer should learn. Make sure to practice functions and return statements enough so that it becomes second nature. Practice PHP Function examples and provide various return values to see how they interact with the rest of your code. Try using the return value from one function, in another function to see if it works. If it still seems a little abstract and difficult, don't worry, we will be going more into functions in the next lessons.
