Video Description:
One of the most important aspects of modding, whether installing mods you've downloaded from the web, or making your own mods, is making sure to clean your mods of potentially harmful dirty references, junk cells and GMSTs. Failing to do so could lead to savegame corruption, various in-game bugs, item and NPC duplication, and of course accidental mod conflicts. Now one of the more convenient and easy to use tools out there is tes3cmd, a powerful command-line program that makes cleaning mods easy and simple to do. Of course, being a command-line program, it has no graphical user interface, and you'll have to type in commands manually, which naturally puts some people off. Still, looking past this minor detail, tes3cmd is one of the easiest cleaning utilities out there for cleaning mods, and more thorough than most other applications. So today we're going to take a look at how to clean mods with tes3cmd, as well as a few other potentially useful functions that might come in handy.
