This is a demonstration of Goro in the Arcade version of Mortal Kombat 1. Read on below for more information...

This video shows pretty much all a human player can do with Goro without freezing the game. You will NOT be able to pull off any moves or special moves the CPU Goro can do.

He also seems to have a little bit of CPU AI embedded in despite being controlled by a human player. To activate this you need to knock him down and immediately jump and strike so that you miss the hit and land on the other side I think, once he gets up that's when the CPU AI is activated and takes over temporarily. You will always regain control eventually. You can see this happen beginning at 3:07 of the video.

In all of the arcade versions of the 2D Mortal Kombat games, selecting and playing as the bosses and hidden characters through alternative methods is extremely flawed - one wrong move by the player will lock the whole game. This is of course due to the fact that the bosses/hidden characters in the game are not programmed for a human player to control.
