Mortal Kombat GMV - Chill Out
Sup everyone! I’m BACK with a brand new GMV, which is not a Sonic GMV! No, it’s a Mortal Kombat GMV! I was planning to make this since 2012 but back then I had only MK9 to capture stuff from and even then, my old PC was too weak to do that. With the release of MKX and with my new PC I could finally do it justice! This is everything I imagined, when I found the song and got the idea for this vid!
It took me about a month or a month and a half to make, not counting the time I spent to capture all the scenes and finding ways to get rid of the HUD (which I did find but mostly for MKX, not MK9, unfortunately). As a whole, it took me more like 3 months to make this from the ground up. Fun fact: when I posted that teaser on August 29, I was still just capturing scenes, there was nothing done other than that at that time. I could have waited for Kombat Pack 2 for more footage but it’s still quite far away from being released, I don’t even know what characters it will include, so I used what we have so far in MKX, MK9 and MK Legacy (for the cyborgs footage). I wish I could have removed all HUD completely in MK9. I wanted to use that Subway Stage Fatality but the HUD prevented me from getting the clean footage. Anyway, I still had enough material to make the video. Oh and as you can probably see, I didn’t use MK9 fatalities (except for one of Cyrax fatalities, which I had to edit a bit), not counting Stage Fatalities. The reason is that MK9 fatalities have black background. Looks lame and takes away the cinematic feel. It’s a shame, really. There are plenty of great fatalities in MK9. I also decided not to include the most gruesome and nasty fatalities but the thing is still brutal as shit!
I think it turned out to be amazing. It even exceeded my own expectations!
Please let me know what you think about it, like it, share with other Mortal Kombat fans, subscribe to my channel and chill out!:)

Special thanks to my friend Arne for helping me with the 3D animated logo, the credits animation and the thumbnail picture!
P.S. I hope NetherRealm studios will bring back the cyborgs (Sektor and Cyrax). MK is not quite the same without them.
