Mortal Kombat Project Revitalized - Brothers Beatdown - Part 1
2So with this new release, we are back at it again! This is a more refined version of the mortal kombat project. Both of these games i find to be a bit of a mess. Granted, i was never much of a mortal kombat player. This game is fun for sure, but i am really not sure just how much fun there is to be had on its own. There is plenty of content and is a clear example of hard work and dedication, but it is a bit confused in the mechanic and over all direction of where the combat should go. The idea is to cram everything in that mk has ever done, and that was a goal they achieved. The cost of that is a mess of ideas that dont mesh too well.
The mugen engine in and of itself has its limitations and if there was a stronger more reliable engine under the hood, this would work a lot better. Generally, this is a cool idea and a fun experience, but isnt something i'd end up spending much time with. Maybe i am bias in my 2d fighters, but look at it, try it for yourself, and show your pals. I'll be movin' on.
