Been a while huh? Well we’re back and today, we are covering the Predator.
The Predator is a ruthless force packing close range combos and a lot of pain. Like in the first two films, he can rush in and strike when you least expect it. Not only that but his variations add a bit of changes to his overall play style.
Warrior has him go in your face with the Yautja Strike and Dread Slam. He also has Self-Detonate which affects both fighters but has the advantage of giving him more opportunities to mix things up. Hunter relies on setting his Snag trap so he can ensnare his opponents and be vulnerable to his strikes. He can also heal himself though I don’t think you may need it as much. Hish-Qu-Ten is a variation I recommend because it turns the Predator into a zoner. With the Plasma Shot and Plasma Caster, you can go long range. His Shot can be altered straight, down or up as long as you hold the X button. Of course he has two other versions, which can go high or low. The Casters are like Kitana’s fans except they hold in place for a bit and then go after the opponent. It’s a variation that provides a balance of offense and defense.
Overall, Predator is a great character to play with. My only gripes are his Fatalities. They aren’t that great. His Brutalities however, more than make up for it because they are bloody, brutal and bloodgushingly awesome.
