You thought you wouldn’t be seeing this until August huh? Well guess what! It’s back! MKX is back! We now cover the last DLC character Tremor… for now.
Tremor is a hard-hitting character that is just as strong as the very Earth he wields. He has Earth-based attacks, projectiles and a whole slew of possibilities, not to mention variations that add something new onto the battlefield.
Aftershock gives him access to pure offense. He has a ground pound that can be done on the ground or in the air. You can also adjust it to be either close or far but that works in the air. Crystalline is interesting because you can summon crystals. They can be used as projectiles or heck, even stage items when you meter burn it. Though they can be used in your favor, the opponent can use it too so use it carefully. Last but not least is Metallic and he gets access to both lava and gold simply be pressing D, D, 1. They not only change his normal moves but also his specials. In gold, your projectiles are solid and can deal damage but in lava, they change and add a bit more punch and properties.
Regardless of which, Tremor is a force to be reckoned with. His Fatalities are brutal and can leave a lasting impression. Out of all the DLC characters I played with, I consider my favorites to be Tremor and Predator. Tremor because what he has is simply devastating while Predator may have wicked Brutalities, his Fatalities… not so much.
Does it mean the end for MKX? For now yes. I don’t know what Netherrealm will do but if they plan on releasing more characters, I will be covering them. Only time will tell.
