Mortal Kombat X: PS3 & Xbox 360 Versions Officially CANCELLED w/ WB Announcement! (Mortal Kombat 10)
1,572Mortal Kombat X for last gen (PS3 and Xbox 360) is cancelled as of today after a recent announcement coming from the guys over at Warner Brothers. According to their statement, they felt like the game wouldn't have lived up to the standards wanted, so they've decided to drop the project all together. As of now, Ed Boon and the guys over at NetherRealm have yet to mention ANYTHING about this cancellation. Thus, I think it's safe to say that this was out of their hands. From what we've gathered, the original company that was designing the port of MKX was fired back in July. From there, a new company called QLOC was scheduled to come in and attempt to save the the project. Though the PC version's port now seems to have been fixed tremendously, it appears that there was no saving the last gen versions of Mortal Kombat X. The game was scheduled to be released back in April alongside the Xbox One, PS4 and even PC versions of the game, and has since been left in limbo up until now. With that said, I'm sorry to be the one to inform you all of this bad news. If you were waiting for this game to get released for last generation consoles, you can now go and get a full refund from the retail store you made your original purchase. So, what do you all think of the cancellation of last generation versions of MKX? Personally, I think it's a shame that this can't be created.
