A few weeks ago I was presented with the option to donate to a local charity organization (They have a property south of town the host summer camp for less fortunate kids and the handicapped), the goal was to raise money to buy some radios for when they do things at their camp.
I decided instead of giving them actual money I would get them a proper system thats consists of this GR1225 repeater and 8 vertex Standard VX180u handhelds and getting them an FCC license to use this equipment. Their FCC license has come in and now it's time to deliver the radios this evening. I though I would do a quick video of the repeater and some final adjustments for you on camera.
This organization already own some other portable radios (HT600's and GP300's) that I already re-programmed.

UPDATE - The antenna will be permanently mounted on a mast on their camps main building and repeater set up in a closet out of sight, out of mind., so no need for the portable solution yet unless they want it for something else.
