The Motorola Moto X Play is powered by the 64bit Snapdragon 615 chipset that houses 8 Cortex A53 cores, 4 clocked at 1.7 Ghz each and another 4 clocked at 1 Ghz each coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM.

This variant has 16GB of internal storage and also a micro sd slot for memory expansion.

The Moto X Play houses a 21MP Rear Camera and has a 5.5" 1080p display with a 3630 mAh non removable battery.

The Moto X Play currently runs on an almost stock build of Android 5.1 Lollipop with Motorola's few tweaks on top.
