MSFS Bush Trips – The Grapes of Wrath (Route 66) – Mc Carran (KLAS) to Shoshone (L61) – Leg 14
0Hello everyone Commander Kingfish here and I am starting a new Microsoft’s Flight Simulator series, the Bush Series. This new trip is an add on by Perfect Flight called The Grapes of Wrath (Route 66) Adventure. We will follow route 66 made famous by John Steinbeck’s literary masterpiece, The Grapes of Wrath.
We’ll fly over historic Route 66, known as the Mother Road; cross six U.S. states: Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California, for a total of 1295 miles. The highway was decommissioned in 1985, but it has since been replaced by interstate highways, including Interstate 40. The journey starts in Sallisaw Oklahoma and ending in Bakersfield California covering 16 legs to the trip with 90 different points of interest. This bush trip is flown in the default Cessna Grand Caravan in a new livery the Priority Air Charter colors.
Leg 14, I am departing from Mc Carran Intl (KLAS) to Shoshone (L61) and flying some 55 nm distances.
