[MSFS2020] | SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA - SCENERY BY ORBX | IS IT UP TO NORMAL ORBX STANDARDS ?
12Hello Folks and welcome to this week's first review, as I return to normal operations after illness. Firstly, thank you for you kind support and get well messages and those that bought me a coffee. It is much appreciated.
Today, as promised, I'm looking at SACRAMENTO AIRPORT, CALIFORNIA (KSMF) by ORBX. Developed by talented creator, Mattao Veneziani, this is a nice scenery and it shines out well in many places. The animated Jetways are almost perfect and augmented by excellent sounds of the wheel movement and the hood closing over the aircraft. The animated trains are lit during the darkness hours which is a big plus and almost all of the airport lighting is provided by proper lighting solutions - not Asobo globes!
The scenery is well put together and is more than adequate, but it's not the usual Orbx fare to be honest. Don't misunderstand me, it's good and definately the best renditiopn of KSMF out there so far. But while it is very well done with some nice touches, it's not what I would call fantastic. But then check out the video and see what you actually think.
