[MSFS2020] | WARSAW CHOPIN (EPWA) by FLY 2 HIGH | JETWAYS PROBLEMS & OTHER ISSUES
Hello and welcome to this video which was UNLISTED for FLY 2 HIGH to review, but now I make Public. So far, no response from the developer. Here, I take an In-Depth look at how the Jetways in this scenery operate with different aircraft on different stands. And at the end, I show how the Jetways DO work at the current latest freeware LONDON GATWICK AIRPORT (EGKK) by developer MKVY and we look briefly at floating buildings.
Discoveries so far . . .
There is a possible conflict between FLY 2 HIGH's scenery and the default Asobo scenery that it sits on. Whilst I can find no default EPWA scenery in the CONTENTS MANAGER to disable, clearly when you look at the position of aircraft when spawned directly onto some stands from the MSFS Menu, they often do not line up correctly. Nosewheel out of position. Could this be a Latitude/Longitude issue? Next, the Jetway hood does not move to cover the aircraft door, nor do the wheels of the moving jetway operate correctly! It should be noted also that in the case of the PMDG 737-800, I needed to actually OPEN the L1 door from the FMC menu for the door to open! And I was not aware of this with regard to the Jetway operation, since on the FBW A320NEO and the default Asobo A320NEO (both shown in the video) the door opens automatically. So this is NOT an issue with FLY 2 HIGH's scenery. I also encountered the issue of having to reload the aircraft to get the Tug and Jetway to begin operating - this on two occasions. Never encountered this before! Note that I use the freeware PUSHBACKHELPER by developer METINDIKBAS, again, with never having encountered any issues using this Mod before. Overall, the scenery is really good and I hope to review it soon, perhaps when the jetway issues are solved. Thanks for watching. Lee (VirtualAirlinePilot.Org). ©VirtualAirlinePilot 2022.
