Mugen #1122: Complete and Total Insanity Part 2
Has it been over a month? Holy shit. That hiatus was long. Stage was also in #1102.
Since it's my 22nd birthday, I'm actually almost repeating #657 but with new stuff. It didn't go as smoothly, as CHOUJIN's Biohazard and Supermystery's Robotnik's Robots got dropped at different times (Biohazard glitches out in matches like this and stops coming out). It was also a bit more lopsided as Ran & Chen has a ton of life and does damage pretty fast. KFMs has a winscreen that comes up midmatch in simul matches when its own timer runs out, not much I can do about that. Also the lifebars I used were the Neon ones, but I wasn't expecting them to be hidden. I also left the empty winquote screen intentionally, as a bonus.
So like, feedback? Fuck it, I did it it on the last one, might as well:
KFMs: In simul, it dies automatically if it's your partner. Also, if its timer ends before the actual match, the status screen overlays the match, but they keep fighting. Otherwise, that's about it. They lack AI, so they're a lot easier than Rox Howard Clones and MK Lost in Time. Worth fighting though even if it's just to get the highest score (yes it has a score counter!).
Ran & Chen: I really don't know what to make of this. Ran Yakumos and Chens fall down and explode or roll (Ran) and bounce (Chen). Hitting them does damage, but they can take a lot, and they hurt a lot. It's neat for what it is, but it's pretty broken.
Strength Training: This is the bonus people edit all the time; Binho's MK Training, and there's at least two more edits of it out there I can't remember the names/authors of (One was a HYDRA (comics) version, one was Sentinels). Same premise as MK Training from #657, but this one I believe is from Art of Fighting. Worth it.
Tarkatan Horde: Apparently this comes from the MKvsSF series. The AI is lacking, so it's harder than KFMs but cake compared to Rox Howard Clones. The problem is they combo very easily, so one can lock you down for another to take aggressive measures. Otherwise good.
