Kaguya Luna is a famous female Japanese 'Virtual Youtuber' who first appeared back in 2017. Like every other 'V-tuber', she reveals herself through a 3D model (probably made in MikuMikuDance software) which is her cute little avatar.

Kaguya Luna is created by a MUGEN Author named "migo". She has very destructive A.I..

Kaguya Luna has a load of very powerful attacks that deal very great damage. She has amazing comboability. A lot of the attacks that she has affects entire screen which makes them very hard to avoid. She has some actual physical attacks of her own, though. Some of them make her mobile. A few of them actually tracks the opponent's location. She has an attack that has two functions. It is a fullscreen attack but if performed close to the opponent, it turns into a powerful grab attack which deals damage alongside the original fullscreen attack impact. She has assists which have different functions. She can also summon random portraits which affect the entire screen. Kaguya Luna also has crazy supers. A lot of them are unblockable fullscreen attacks. Some supers involve her assists too.

Kaguya Luna drops cans of alcoholic beverages onto the stage and they can be picked up by her and her opponents. She seems to slightly gain power meter from them and potentially health restoration. An effect is hardly noticeable for the opponent (or anyone besides Kaguya Luna) when they pick them up. Kaguya Luna also has some sort of mechanic in her gameplay which is clear from the gauge at the side. Once it gets full, she can manually activate an effect where she gets some of her health back.

The most peculiar thing about Kaguya Luna is her 'minigame phase'. A fullscreen attack triggers the minigame. Once the minigame is triggered, the opponent is brought into some sort of weird gameshow where they have to choose a right answer to a question. The questions and answers corresponding to the questions are different. If the opponent chooses the right answer, Kaguya Luna gets damaged by a sudden explosion. If the opponent chooses the wrong answer...well, you can probably guess what happens then. There is a timer for the quiz as well, so the outcome of the latter will also occur if the time elapses before being able to answer the question.


This is a very quirky joke character. It seems to be a "boss character" of some sort judging by the design of the gameplay. That minigame phase that she has can be irritating. The text is all in Japanese so unless you actually understand the language, there is obviously a high chance that you will always select the wrong answer and get blown up. But.. you can possibly choose the right answer by complete accident or by a very lucky guess which is what happened with me.
