This is an unedited capture of what M.U.L.E. for the IBM PC looks like when played on a composite CGA monitor, where it takes advantage of all 16 colors (as opposed to only 4 colors when run on an RGB monitor). This capture is unedited and starts from when the computer is booted, to the title screen animation and music, to the start of the demo, to the final ending screen.

Since there is no audio after the game starts, I muted the audio after game start to cut down on the noise.

Many thanks to Vincent Bray for working with a small team of computer software preservationists to get this released into the wild.

If you want to try playing this in DOSBox in Windows, try this experimental patch that has composite CGA support: http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=12319&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=420
