So recently there was an announcement from Activision's Quarterly Report, where they discussed how Warzone has done amazingly for them so far and as a result of this, from now on they will be focusing more of their resources into developing new content(but still no anti-cheat) for Warzone in favour of traditional 6V6 MP, it's easy to see why this is happening as until Warzone debuted, franchise fatigue was setting in majorly for the CoD series, with each entry seeing less and less players year on year. Modern Warfare was the only game to turn this trend around and Warzone has helped retain more players, however Cold War has a reported 50% less sales than Modern Warfare and this might spell bad things for the future of 6v6 MP, stay tuned for more CoD videos very soon!
