Muscovy MASSACRED ⚔️ The Battle of Orsha, 1514 | Muscovite-Lithuanian Wars
It was the early morning of 8 September 1514. A Muscovite army with tens of thousands of horsemen, commanded by Ivan Chelyadnin, was deployed near two bridges across the Dnieper River. They were ready to ambush the Polish-Lithuanian army, which would cross the bridge at any moment.
Then, suddenly, a scout galloped towards Chelyadnin. He recounted how the Polish-Lithuanian army built two pontoon bridges far to the north and was already deployed in battle formation. Chelyadnin had to change its plans as the Battle of Orsha was about to break out.
