Muse returns with more puzzling goodness, in Airtight Games' Quantum Conundrum.

The one (one!) puzzle room in this episode is the worst thing ever. I actually had to step away for a moment so I didn't punch my laptop. Let's ignore the glitchiness of the lasers and chair, which may be patched out. My problem is that the lasers in here look just like all the others we've seen so far, but behave differently.

Puzzle games like this involve discovering the various properties of the tools at your disposal, and taking advantage of those properties to solve the problems. If you change the properties of an item with no warning, it doesn't make me think 'Ah! Now the lasers can do this too!". Instead it makes me think "Is this a glitch?".

This problem could have easily been avoided too - either add a line from Q about how these lasers 'utilise new tracking technology based on the transperambulation of pseudo-cosmic anti-matter' or something, or just make the lasers a different colour to indicate that they have different properties. Purple is nice.
