Ultra Aki's final infamous attack, that was long thought to be impossible by a lot of players. The strategy to beat it however is at least 12 years old.

I didn't really plan on this. The reason why it's only the final attack is because I did this shortly after Arrange Aki No Miss, just practicing the attack mostly, not trying to no miss anything. That being said, the final attack is the only hard part of Ultra Aki, everything else is pretty easy and the boss would be very easy if it weren't for the final attack. Although I do plan on probably doing the entire boss at some point, I am taking a break from the 1st Mushihimesama for now.

The 1st attempt is the actual No Miss, the 2nd attempt is simply because I like the music and I wanted to include more footage of me dodging. I would also like to note that there is actually a strategy for doing this perfectly, so I might do that in the future? Not sure yet.

Ultra Aki's final attack is static, but it rotates randomly and has a random direction every time. It also spawns in a different position depending on Aki's movement. My strategy is to go past the third center bullet and then start going in the opposite direction the entire time, only making a slight correction if I did something wrong or if I'm in the wrong position to start. You always want to go in the opposite direction that big bullets are going, that way you get into a lane between the small and big bullets. Eventually the small bullets will probably get in your way in the lane, so you will have to make a small correction for that near the end of the lane. The 2nd part of the attack (after the lanes of big and small bullets) is easier in the No Miss strategy, you keep going in the same direction, dodging the bullets. You bomb just at the right time, as the purple ring collapses and a new wave starts just as your bomb ends. This takes quite a bit of practice to get used to, but eventually you start doing it automatically and you can focus on the bullets.

The opener is the hardest part of the attack, the other waves are easier. You also have to remember to stop shooting when you and Aki have a shield up, otherwise Aki will fire a barrage of random and extremely fast revenge bullets. This is another reason why bomb timing is important. You should start shooting just as you're entering a new wave with the abovementioned bomb strategy. There is also a strategy for doing the attack perfectly, which involves you going back into the center after the lanes of small and big bullets, and dodging there without bombs. If you can dodge an entire wave of the attack in the center, you'll win with that strategy as well. I'm not too familiar with that, though, since I haven't tried it, so I can't really give any advice on the dodging in the middle.

Mushihimesama (Japanese: 虫姫さま, "Bug Princess") is a manic shooter developed by Cave, originally distributed by AMI in 2004 and later redistributed to arcades in 2011 as the significantly changed "version 1.5". It was ported to the PlayStation 2 in 2005 and iOS in 2011. An Xbox 360 port was released in May 2012 (with ver1.5 as first print DLC). A version for Microsoft Windows was also published by Degica in 2015.[1]

The game has an insect theme as all of the enemies resemble various insects such as beetles and butterflies. The game is set in various forest environments. It received a sequel in 2006, known as Mushihimesama Futari, and a spin-off iOS game entitled Mushihimesama Bug Panic.
