Mushroom vs. Star Splatfest Part 2 (Super Mario 35th Anniversary) - Splatoon 2 (スプラトゥーン2)
0Which Super Mario Bros. power-up is better: the Super Mushroom or the Super Star? This Splatoon 2 Splatfest seeks to answer this difficult dilemma. In a series of Turf War matches, my teammates and I try to have the most ink on the ground when time runs out. The stakes are high when we’re united for this important cause!
Since this is the final Splatfest (for real this time?), I'm doing something a little different: I'm switching my character frequently rather than sticking with the female Inkling. In this session, I won six matches and lost six matches.
I went with Super Mushroom because a shroom is just plain more useful in the long-term. It gives you an extra hit when you need it, it lets you break blocks, and it allows even stronger power-ups to come out of ? Blocks. Star powers run out quickly, and it's easy to accidentally fall in a pit if you try zooming too fast with one.
