The Direct Hit works but I do not recommend using it. The loss of splash damage is massive when it comes to crowd control.

I also didnt buy any Rocket Specialist on purpose. Generally you'll get the advice to buy one point of it but you dont have to to be effective as Soldier.
Some people dislike the upgrade, even call it a crutch for bad Soldiers. Personally I dont agree with that but I can see where they are coming from.
If you are bad at Soldier, buying that upgrade isnt going to fix that.

Enough of the technicalities though. Using the Direct Hit felt awkward to me most of the time but I cant deny that getting some sweet "Direct Hits" was satisfying.
The game was a bit chaotic but overall was quite alright. We had some friendly conversations and the atmosphere was pretty chill.
