DirectX Error, MW3 Multiplayer/Zombies Crashes — Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (2023)

In this video I show how I solved the problem with sudden crashes from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 due to a DirectX error.


There was a time when I couldn’t play at all because the game crashed during the loading stage.

I solved this by disabling XMP mode in the BIOS settings. Now my RAM runs at 4800 instead of 6000, but I can enter the game and play, but this method did not solve the sudden crashes from the game.

I tried absolutely everything I found on the Internet, it was all nonsense in my case, only the method from this video helped me.

I downloaded the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility from the Intel website and reset the frequencies of my 14900k, I show it in this video, I did not change anything else in this program.

In general, disabling XMP mode for RAM and lowering the processor frequency to 5 GHz does not lead to crashes from the game.

I'll keep you posted and update this comment if anything changes for the worse.
