To all who didn't know this already. Lot of people have been asking me how to do it so here's finally a demonstration. Big drama at 10:04. More tips below.

The official way to take breaks tutorial:
1. Wait for a wave when a helicopter appears.
2. Take care of all the other enemies/enemy vehicles except one chopper.
3. Be sure to leave your character in a safe spot where the chopper can't shoot you!
4. Take your time. Remember: risk of getting disconnected gets higher the longer being away.
5. Return and check on your partner.
6. Destroy the helicopter and proceed to next wave!
