THREE WEEKS AGO ON NXT: Aleister Black suffered a setback when he lost to NXT newcomer Bobby Fish after getting caught in a Fish Hook Deluxe submission.

If NXT Women's Champion Asuka wasn't yet taking the challenge of Ember Moon seriously, she should be now. Three weeks away from their title match at TakeOver: Brooklyn III, Ember confronted “The Empress of Tomorrow” after Asuka reiterated nobody is ready for her, including Moon.
INTERVIEW: The NXT Champion Johnny Gargano is still soaking in his championship victory last month an is looking forward to his first challenger, Bobby Roode at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Roode crashes the interview and proposes a face-to-face meeting in the ring next week ahead of their showdown at Takeover: Brooklyn III.
“The Glorious One” then took a verbal swipe at Roderick Strong who was in the vicinity of the interview set, claiming to be a better man than “The Messiah of the Backbreaker”. This provoked Strong to storm the set, only to be held back by other NXT Superstars. NXT General Manager William Regal tried to intervene and calm down Strong, but Regal's admission that his hands are tied and that Roode's dance card is full did little to comfort Strong.
TWO MONTHS AGO ON NXT: Lacey Evans defeated Sonya Deville by pinfall after hitting her Woman's Right punch, adding insult to injury to the former MMA fighter.
